Cancellation Policy: All Senior Center activities and transportation services will be cancelled whenever the Granby Public Schools are cancelled. The Town of Granby further reserves the right to cancel programs in the event of inclement weather.
Pricing Structure for Classes:
Please make payment on the first day of session. Missed classes refunded with doctor excuse ONLY.
6-week sessions are $36, $40 non-residents
Take any two sessions and save!
(Available only when taking concurrent classes)
$60 for any two 6-week sessions, $70 non-residents

Strength & Cardio: Mondays at 4:30 p.m.

Get your heart pumping and tone your muscles using hand-held weights, body bars, medicine balls and exercise balls. All equipment is provided.
Full Body Workout: Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m.

Quick-paced and designed to work all your muscle groups. Move from station to stration to tone and strengthen.
Cardio Combo: Fridays at 10:15 a.m.

Using hand-held weights, exercise bands, and balls, you will help build strong bones, increase stability and control increasing your sense of well being.
Basic Training for Men: Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m.

Strength training using a variety of equipment (i.e.: hand-held weights, stability balls and body bars).
Muscle Work for Women: Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.

Strength training to tone muscles and build stamina.
Smart Moves: Mondays at 11:00 a.m.

This gentle exercise is for people with arthritis. It puts you through the paces, helping to increase joint flexibility, range of motion and muscle strength.
Advanced Smart Moves: Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.

Less in-chair movement and increased standing exercise than the Smart Moves class. Increase muscle-tone and joint mobility using hand-held weights and resistance bands.
Tai Chi
Beginning: Mondays at 8:45 a.m.
Advanced: Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.
Intermediate: Fridays at 9:00 a.m.

Balance, focused breathing, alignment and meditation are achieved in a relaxed atmosphere. Instructor evaluation will determine appropriate level.

Practicing, or learning Yoga for the first time around, a chair is a gentle, effective way for men and women with physical limitations, injuries or challenges to experience the benefits of Yoga. Awaken your joints and muscles with slow, gentle stretching with the stability and comfort of the chair. Deepen your breath, increase your range of motion and attain better balance, strength, and flexibililty. It's relaxing, it's gentle and it's fun, it can't hurt to give it a try!!!
Indoor Walking
The perfect way to continue your walking routine during the hot summer! The International Skating Center of Connecticut allows walkers year-round. You will need to bring a jacket along, the ice keeps it very cool! Van service offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings by calling 844-5353.
