Department of Police Services
Personnel Organization
The Granby Department of Police Services has an authorized strength of fifteen sworn members and ten civilians under the leadership of Chief David Watkins. There are two divisions within the Department. The Patrol Division is under the command of Captain Kevin Bennett and consists of four Sergeants and eight Patrol Officers. The Communications Division is under the authority of Records/Communications Supervisor Barbara Janeski and consists of four full-time and five part-time Public Safety Dispatchers.
Also under the auspices of the Department of Police services is the position of the Municipal Animal Control Officer, Ms. Jennifer Abalan, who reports to the Captain.
