Welcome to the official website for the town of Granby, Connecticut

GRANBY PUBLIC LIBRARY WELCOME !
From the Director of Library Services...
Dear Granby Residents:

In 2003, the Library Board adopted this Mission Statement for our libraries:

“In a growing community that is striving to preserve its small-town individuality, we are committed to becoming the community crossroads where all generations can meet to freely exchange ideas and information, where technology and resources support the search for knowledge, where services and collections enrich the lives of residents and where the library  is a leader in cooperation with other town services, schools, business and organizations.”

As services grow and we reach out into the world with new technology and resources, we remember with pride that we are still able to sustain small-town friendliness and personal services. You are the “public” in public library, and we encourage your comments and suggestions, your expectations and  opinions.

We invite  you to use your libraries regularly and look forward to meeting you and providing your library services.

Sincerely,
Joan Fox
Director of Library Services
